The VR Story
VR Cues come from one of the first cue-making families in Thailand. With many years of experience, they have established a legendary reputation in their home country.
Time and care are taken with every cue, from plain ebony handmade V-Spec cues with selected ash or maple shafts, right through to Ultimate Limited-Edition cues made using the highest grades of wood.
We hold a selection of VR Cues in our showroom, meaning you could have a new cue in your hands in days. Alternatively, we can arrange a bespoke cue made to order, with an approximate lead time of six months.

Full shaft cues are made using the traditional construction method, with the shaft running the full length of the cue. See the explanation below for more detail.
Understanding the Shaft Options
The shaft is an important part of the cue's feel and playing characteristics. VR offers different levels of shaft selection to suit different preferences.
V-Spec Shafts
V-Spec shafts might have a little more flex than Ultimate cue shafts. The ash or maple grain pattern will be good, although it may not be as visually pleasing as the higher-range cues.
V-Spec shafts are selected for good strength and density, providing good playability. They are a great option for players who want a strong-playing cue while keeping the cost down.
Ultimate Shafts
Ultimate shafts are carefully checked to ensure they have the right characteristics to deserve the Ultimate name.
They are selected for excellent visual grain patterns, good strength and density. Stiffer shafts can offer strong shot feedback and are often preferred by players looking for these characteristics.
Full Shaft Construction
Full shaft cues – add £75.00.
These cues are made in the traditional way, with the shaft running the full length of the cue.
Most cues are made using shorter shafts these days. These are extended to full length before the splices are added. With a shorter shaft, weight can be added at a higher position, which has no detrimental effect on the cue.
VR Cue Extensions – Spiral Thread
VR Cues are fitted with an end joint for use with extensions, using a spiral thread.
The following extensions are available to complement the VR cue range.
